Solution Description and Selected Technology
ZSOLUTION DESCRIPTION AND SELECTED TECHNOLOGY
CBA VEREX, a.s., a company operating a food wholesale business and a retail network in Slovakia, implemented the NAVISYS® energy monitoring system. The objective was to gain comprehensive insight into energy consumption, optimize operating costs, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
The system includes monitoring of electricity, water, and gas consumption across retail and leased premises. It also covers monitoring of indoor and outdoor temperatures, refrigerated display units, and humidity levels in stores and warehouses. The installation spans 26 local distribution networks and approximately 350 metering points.
In recent years, CBA VEREX has also expanded modernization efforts to include lighting. A new warehouse was equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting controlled by the POSEIDON® system, while selected retail locations implemented the SRT Regiolux track lighting system. This was preceded by the complete removal of the original lighting infrastructure, followed by the installation of modern LED luminaires. The upgrade significantly improved lighting performance and overall system reliability.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION:
Thanks to NAVISYS®, CBA VEREX has gained detailed visibility into energy consumption, enabling:
- Heating optimization based on customer footfall
- Fair allocation of energy costs among tenants in the Jasná shopping center and the CBA Verex premises
- Efficient planning of maintenance and modernization activities
This approach has resulted in substantial energy savings and contributes to environmental protection, which the company considers a key step toward sustainable operations.
