THE POSEIDON CITY SYSTEM ENABLES

POSEIDON City was selected as the most suitable control system, enabling wireless control of individual luminaires as well as their groups. Thanks to this, the system can be flexibly expanded without the need for modifications to the existing infrastructure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SOLUTION AND SELECTED TECHNOLOGY

After completing the phase of replacing luminaires with energy-efficient LED lighting, the municipality is taking the modernization of its public lighting system one step further. It is gradually implementing a smart control system that will contribute not only to additional energy savings, but above all to improved management of the entire lighting infrastructure.

To ensure reliable coverage of the area, two communication gateways have been deployed within the system, providing data transmission between the luminaires and the central management system. The solution also includes a virtual local server.

The entire implementation is being carried out gradually, allowing the municipality to optimize investment costs, continuously evaluate the benefits of the system, and flexibly respond to the needs of individual locations.

Control of individual luminaires is provided by several types of receivers, carefully selected to best suit the specific type of luminaire.
